Paneer Tikka

A very popular tandoori snack in which soft paneer and vegetable cubes are marinated in yoghurt with tandoori spices and grilled or smoked in a pan. A very yummy , melt-in-the-mouth snack in any occasion.

  1. Cottage cheese or paneer...200 grams
  2. Hung curd...1/2 cup
  3. Ginger-garlic...1 tbsp , paste
  4. Red chili powder...1 tsp
  5. Chat masala...1/2 tsp
  6. Tandoori masala...1/2 tsp
  7. Capsicum , tomato , onion...1/2 cup , thickly sliced
  8. Coriander leaves...1 tbsp , chopped
  9. Sugar...1/4 tsp
  10. Salt... to taste
  11. Butter... 1 tbsp
  12. Oil...1 tsp
  1. Mix all ingredients except butter, and marinate for 30 minutes
  2. Heat tava , add butter and fry the paneer , vegetable cubes till it sizzles and aromatic.
  3. Remove from tava and arrange in a toothpick to serve soft aromatic tikkas.
