Banana Custard with Hot Chocolate

This chilled banana custard can be enjoyed of its own or can be made heavenly with the simple addition of hot melted chocolates. The opposites of hot chocolate in chiled banana custard makes it creamy and crunchy.

  1. Milk...400 ml
  2. Custard powder...2 tsp
  3. Banana... 2 , chopped or sliced
  4. Chocolate... 1 , large
  5. Sugar...to taste
  1. Mix 2 tsp custard powder with 1/4 cup cold milk , avoiding any lump formation.
  2. Bring the remaining milk to a boil. After 5-7 minutes , add the custard powder slowly , say 1 tsp at a time , stirring to avoid any lumps.
  3. Keep adding custard and stirring for 4-5 minutes till you get custard of desired consistency. Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. Pour the custard in a bowl with chopped bananas and refrigerate (optional) for 1 hour.
  5. Melt chocolate and pour over chilled banana custard to serve.
  6. For melting chocolate : You may either use double-boiling or microwave for 2 minutes.
